Volkir looks over the spear-man's shoulder with an expression of mirth, despite the situation.

"You don't happen to be a Wild Mage, do you?"

OOC: Sorry, Pyra, not sure if Wild Mages are "canon" in your world. Let me know and I'll remove the reference if so. ^_^

The journey seems to take longer than expected, despite District Central being so close. As the AV lands and the doors are opened, the guards herd you out, and you find out why you were so long in the air. As your feet touch stony ground and the guards give you a nudge forward with their rifles, the AV takes off, sending dust everywhere. As the dust settles a distinct musty smell hits your noses and you find yourselves in the bastard child of the past and the future.

An large, older man with crew cut greying hair and a crude looking bionic eye greets you wearing a dress uniform similar to the woman who sent you here.
"Lady and gentlemen, welcome to Fort Robespierre."

You're standing in a fort courtyard. The place is a combination of original stone structure and metal fittings and cyberware. Uniformed soldiers attend to duties, performing drills and moving large crates in industrial exoskeletons. Dotted around are uniformed officers accompanying labcoats and suits as they walk from reengineered huts to crudely jury rigged walkways and original stone turrets.

"My name is Lieutenant Colonel Barker. Colonel O' Rourke is on her way to see you. Until then you will kept under close supervision."

Lt Col Barker signals to one of the soldiers, who promptly arrives with a salute. He is much taller and broader than the Lt Col, dressed in full urban camo gear, with the top of his jumpsuit loose to reveal a black vest and two fully chromed cybernetic arms.
"Sergeant Cove. I want you to take your men and accompany our... guests... down below."
Cove replies with a hearty acknowledgement, and calls over to four soldiers, also fully decked in combat gear sporting assault rifles, who jog over. Lt Col Barker signals to the guards who brought you, and they stride off out of the courtyard. Sgt Cove looks each of you over.
"Well, what an interesting bunch you are. You must be important if Colonel O' Rourke had you sent here. Come with me."
Sgt Cove starts to walk, and his me indicate for you to follow.

Ace.

Tukal will comm to the Captain.
"Captain, the course is ready. I would like all non essential personnel to attend if possible."

By non essentiall obviously I mean basic running of the ship, if it can work without them, great.

Tukal will head to weapons storage to pick up some low energy disrupters.

Jumping around the time frame here, I'm not sure when food will be ready by our Neelix, so I can work around that. Ie, if nosh is ready in an hour and a bit from when we started, they wouldn't have time to eat before they go on running about and shooting things :P

-cargo bay-

"ill see about setting you up some advansed targets. it might take a while, so i wouldnt hang around"

im useing engering structer (i think its strutral engering anyway) since that seems pritty close to the task at hand

( 6 + 4 ) + 8 = 18
( 1 + 5 ) + 8 = 14 (32)
( 1 + 4 ) + 8 = 13 (45)
( 3 + 4 ) + 8 = 15 (60)

about two hours later, over the comms, or whatever "tukal, your targets are ready"

"The only thing you can help me with is locating that what you lost."

With a second flick of his spears, the room shakes, and the door way leads back to the room it should do

"I can use a portal to get to Lacora quickly. Please follow me."

Al leaves the room and heads towards the door to the room with the circle on the floor. Before you can even follow you hear him he shout out, no longer hiding his suprise

"Who are you? How did you get here"

Will do.

What I'd advise that the three of you do is start discussing things, preferably in this discussion thread. Your characters are impulsive and that's fine, and don't worry about metagaming or anything like that, I'd rather the three of you were loosely working together with some idea of what each of you are going to do than all hell break loose. Although that can be quite beneficial too. ;D

Volkir turns to face the spear-wielding man, the note still in his hands.

"I had no idea it was a shared bag. We blindly trusted our benefactor so I did not examine it when I received it. I apologise. However, I agree with Luden. We can help you retrieve it. And I definitely do not wish to die at your hands."

The note is written in neat well formed letters. It reads simply

"Thanks.

Valreth."
