I've been blitzing through Buso Renkin manga. On vol 8 now. It's nice as I know it's only a 10 vol series so I can read it and finish it. May pick up the anime again to watch. Once you learn not to take it seriously it is good. And it has Tokiko <3

"I'll splatter your guts!!"

Im cosplaying Captain Bravo to fuyucon :3

I've been absolutely terrible with watching anime/reading manga recently, but I have, just this week, started catching up on Naruto[/] episodes. I needed some good old fashioned action-y anime to get back into it, so. Haha.

Watch Soul Eater! I guarantee you'll enjoy XD

me? Ichigo Mashimaro, Kurokami (very good) Mariaholic (very odd but done by the zetsubo sensei guys so ace) and TORA DORA MY FAVE ANIMU ATM

manga? bleach naruto and soul eater ^^ So im a shonen whore, im a boy, im allowed XD Right. time to pack up the ps3 and go meet you horrible lot :D

Just watched Bleach series 2. Not as good as the first boxset, but it was alright.

EF - A Tale of Melodies

The subber I use for Gundam 00 and White Album released the complete collection of this series so I downloaded it.

I liked it, although I do admit I didn't really know what the main plot was till the last episode or so. It seemed like a collection of smaller plots from past and present. I found it a bit sad in some places but in the end I did think it was good.

Constantly making small changes to the intro sequence though really got me, I watch it and think '...wait a second somethings off...' then they went and did one upside down...that hurt my eyes >.<

Liar Game.

It's like Death Note/Akagi/Kaiji/Just as planned only slightly more predictable (or maybe I'm getting better at seeing past the twists in these things).

The only twist I've not seen coming (and it looks more like an oversight) is why Nao has been entered into the Liar Games, she doesn't have debt like the other contestants do, so why has she been targeted. The only reason I can think of is so there is a flawed character to get in Kaiji style oh shit I fucked up and now I'm on brink of total defeat situtations with out Light & L's love child being anything other than perfect.

Yes I said Akiyami is Light & L's love child... I don't know...

oh.

That's like a fangirls dream. And when things get predictable... it's not good. You are a genius though.

Gundam 00 - Episodes 1 to 22 of Season 1.

I haven't ever seen a Gundam series this depressing. o.o

Like if you went to hell, and it was full of blood, and that blood was on fire, and it was raining blood, and maybe that would be enough blood! Eh, but, probably not." - Elven Blood Mage, Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne

Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood 10, Envy just did something very unpleasent.

I guess people post in this thread when something depressing happens in something they are watching.

I'm *planning* to watch K-On. I'm just converting 8 episodes to PS3 format so I can watch them on that. Who else watches it?

Obãn Star Racers

I watched this when it was on Jetix last year I think. Bought the DVDs not long after and watched the whole thing through last weekend.

I have to say it's a brilliant series, true the animation is a little different and technically it's what you might call...well at least Zi mentioned the name before...a wanime. I highly reccomend it though to anyone (Providing you get the English/French/Japanese opening...the American one is terrible!) the story is well written, the music is good and the characters are brilliant, also it has a brilliant opening song :p

If you look up it's creator Savin Yeatman-Eiffel and read what he did basically to get it done then that should be enough to make you give it a try. The guy has spent something like ten years getting it done and made his own animation studio to do it without having to change his story/characters to suit the demands of a previous animation studio who were going to do it.

K-On - Episode 13:
Very disappointed. Episode 12 would have made more sense to end it on, and even then wouldn't have seemed like a real ending.

Guin Saga - Episode 1:
Looks quite good, pretty weird, weird getting used to the animation, but it looks promising.

Eden of the East - Episode 1:
Utterly mental by the looks of it, but I have a feeling about it, like it's going to be something good.

[edit]

forgot to mention, to add to the mental of EotE, at least in the first episode there are a lot of Americans in it, with actual American voices :O and Noel Gallagher does the opening theme.

Bold... check.
Slightly larger than normal font... check
Profanity... check.
All caps... check

FUCK YOU KYOANI

If what I hear is true (trapped in a time loop, each episode is showing one loop, forth episode of this still not resolved time loop so good luck with episode five) Endless Eight is the most annoying gimick ever. Glad they're not doing this to something that has been hyped... like say Haruhi season 2.

The last sentance is sarcasm it is haruhi season 2.

Full Metal Alchemist: Brootherhood: Having a bit of a love/hate thing going on with Roy Mustang. At first I though he was a dick and responsable for all the bad crap. Then Wrath was revealed and that makes me think that Roy is actually working towards something good. Then he goes and makes a BBQ out of a convicted (but we know didn't do it) murderer and while I think he's done the old switch-a-roo I don't know if thats just because I'm starting to like him and don't want him to be some hot blooded dick.

On the plus side... this is so much better than Haruhi Season 2.
