Radiohead's Amnesiac album has been playing quite a bit in my iTunes. I've never really listened to it as much as the other Radiohead albums, bar Pablo Honey (the worst Radiohead album, but it's still 'okay').

Little Wing by Jam Project.  Not as hot blooded as there remembered for but it's a nice melody to listen to.

I've been reallly getting into some underground hip-hop, because of this I'm really digging MF DOOM and all of his other alter-ego's and collabs, like Madvillain (a collab between MF DOOM and Madlib). The Madvillain album, 'Madvillainy', has been played more than alot of my other music lately... it's just really, really great. The best part is that it isn't the stero-typical hip-hop or rap we're used to hearing on the TV or Radio. I'd highly recommend it for those interested.

Things that I've been listening to alot lately... I'm not gonna include Radiohead or the Beatles, 'cause that's what I listen to most.









Mainly a tonne of hip-hop, but there's a couple of other things in there too. All of them are great albums.

I've not heard of any of them other than Wu-Tang - suggest some songs off of the albums and I'll youtube them?

I think you might like MF Doom, he based his name and look on Dr. Doom from the Fantastic Four. His rapping style is pretty cool, it's most really laid back and it's rarely aggressive which makes for nice listening.

The Madvillain album, Madvillainy, is compiled of about 22 short pieces, with three instrumentals (one being called Do Not Fire!, which uses Street Fighter sounds in the music). It's the first real hip-hop album I listened to all the way through.

As for the other artists, I did have some songs in mind, but I've which they were, so I'll have to listen through them again and post them up here.

If you like those Madvillain songs, I'll give you a link to album to give a go. It might take a little getting used to if you've never really listened to hip-hop before, though.

The Antlers second album, Hospice, is easily the most depressing record I've ever heard, it's a concept album about a man watching someone close to him losing her battle to bone cancer. I've had it since it was released, and for a while it was my album of the year and then I didn't listen to it again, until last night. I couldn't sleep, and I felt like I needed to listen to "Hospice" It sounded amazing through my new headphones, and it's now back as my album of the year.

The vocals can be a little off putting, they're really soft, and almost whispered. But if you can get into that, you'll probably soon quickly get into the album.
