Which games have people just spent hours on?

For me, I think we all know about Dragon Quest 8 on ps2 (112 hours *twitch*).  Final Fantasies 7, 8, 9, 10 and 12 have also taken a lot of my free time.  Non-RPG would probably be the early Tony Hawks games and Metal Gear Solid 1.  I think its more older games that I've spent time on as I had more free time when i was in school/uni.  Plus there was no full blown anime addiction (only a minor one :P)

Most RPG's that Ive played have eaten up time, especially Star Ocean: Till The End of Time, but thats cos I keep restarting it XD
Silent hill obviously :P
Monsterhunter on the psp stole my life for a good long while untill it pissed me off, we're not talking at the moment.
At the moment its a split between Harvest Moon and Star Ocean again.

I know that Guild Wars has taken over 120 hours of my time in total. Dungeon Master and Captive have likely taken a lot of my time, as has Advance Wars and Advance Wars 2. I have bouts of new game playing, where I play one game and stick to it for days and days, so there are probably quite a lot of games I've played for a long time. ANY game that you can find where you can unlock more stuff or play it endlessly, like RPGs, I've played ages. I guarantee I've played all of the Dynasty Warriors combined for probably a year straight XD

The SmackDown series is probably the game that's taken over my life, bar this year's version as I've rarely played it.

You're insane. I assume though you've got some long hours clocked up on FF Pyra? Its a shame Chocobo World doesn't have a time counter eh :P

Worked it out, 2665 hours (and 51 mins) from 3 of my characters on WoW. My still level 60 warlock has most of those hours (70 rogue 2nd and 70 warlock is 3rd, yes I have 2 warlocks on the same account on the same server but one is ally and one is horde)

chocobo world doesn't count as it auto played while I did other stuff. I think it would only be around 400 hours I've sunk into FF8 though but don't have a real way to tell.

Touhou is becoming time sinkingly addictive.

Only just saw this topic...and I have to say...Animal Crossing.
I had to give it up because I ended up spending at least 3 or 4 hours a day on my ds playing it.
And god forbid I miss Saturday evening's performance. I set alarms for that kinda thing o.0 It interrupted so much with my rl.
BUt everytime I hear the music from it... T_T I want it back so much!

i currently have 770 hours on midnight club 3 (i use it to fall asleep with because the loading times are so long on the psp) and 330 hours and counting on monster hunter freedom 2

I'm back of World of Warcraft now as a Tauren Druid, I doubt I'll get past Pyra's total time though as I always get bored easily.  :P
