Yeah Zi showed me the rulebooks online and I've got the core rulebook. My only gripe is the models being metal, I prefer the plastic models because I paint in a weird way with almost every part separate and only put them together at the end.
Like the sound of the Adeptus Arbites though!
That's how I prefer to paint when I'm not being lazy. When I'm being lazy I glue them together (plus oit's more fun to see them as a whole) but painting them individually makes it look a lot better when it's finished
Yes, the Adeptus Arbites... as Zirak may or may not have told you, I'm extremely anal when it comes to the rules. I don't like the new ones - there's nothing wrong with them, but when you've spent 15 years playing with the old rules, it's not easy to get used to new ones. The Adeptus Arbites were in an expansion book for the original Necromunda, but I read through the rules for the new Adeptus Arbites and they actually sound pretty cool. Having a precinct of 10 Arbites, and only taking a few out at a time... I'll have to give them a go. I should probably start learning the new rules and start using the new add on packs (Redemptions, Scavvies etc) only problem is, they don't appear the have rules for Pit Slaves or Wyrds (I don't think)
[edit]
If distance wasn't a problem I'd like to a run a campaign. Normally you fight it out as gangs over regular scenarios, but with a proper DM, the DM can set up things like special scenarios, like gangs banding together to hunt down a local group of Scavvies, or a gang fight getting interrupted by a squad of Chaos Marines, things like that. Or a regular campaign, even.
