*Captain's Quarters OOC: Really should've said Office, or something...makes it sound like they're in my personal quarters. XD This is just a small office.

Lorval stands as his crew enter and clasps his hands behind his back.

"Would someone care to explain to me what on Earth happened at Quark's today?" He asks, after looking at each of them in turn.

OOC: I'm just going to assume you all tell it like it is, so I can continue. Saves time. If you guys have problems with this, let me know, and I can edit this post.

Lorval sighs as they finish recapping the events at the bar. He looks up at Tukal.

"And you felt it necessary to get involved, despite me ordering you not to do so?"

He looks at the others.

"I realise that one of the attractions of working on this ship is not having to abide by stringent Federation standards when it comes to most aspects of daily life, but at the very least I expect you to follow my orders. I cannot afford to have you starting brawls in every tavern, bar or recreational building we enter, just because someone slighted or bumped into you."

Lorval turns his attention on Emray.

"I don't blame you for what happened, Emray, and I feel that Starfleet's judgement was a little harsh. Still, you need to keep your mechanics in line. If anything like this ever happens again, I'm going to have to keep them ship-bound at any port of call we dock at."

He then addresses all of them.

"That goes for any of you. You're lucky I don't dock your pay for this. Return to your posts. Tukal, if you would stay behind? I have something more I want to discuss."

Tam retrieves his documents from the officer, "Thank you very much Officer" he offers a bow, "you have been most helpful".

Tam boards the ship and waits just inside patiently for a crewman to appear so that he can be directed to the Capitan's office

*Captain's Quarters

Once everyone had left Lorval turned his full attention to Tukal, who had remained behind.

"I just wanted to say, Tukal, that while you had to disobey my orders I appreciate the sentiment behind it. I knew there was a reason I hired you as Head of Security," Lorval said with a wry smile. "I trust that you have the crew's best interests at heart. Thank you."

Lorval offers his hand, just as Emray's message chimes in.

Tukal shakes his hand, if there's time.
"Thank you Captain, your respect means a great deal to me. It is a shame I lost that bottle of Kanar, though."

*Captain's Quarters

Lorval laughs.

"I'm sure we can find a replacement."

He taps his comm badge
OOC: We have those?

"Alright, show him in, Emray. Thank you."

You hear Owen's voice over the intercom.

"Captain I have Starfleet on the line, want to speak to you asap."

*Captain's Quarters

"Yes, with the recent war on the Dominion Starfleet has had to take extra precautions. Nothing to be too worried about. Unless you are a Dominion spy," Lorval answered Tam with a smirk, before Owen's message chimed in.

Lorval tapped his commbadge.

"I'll be right there."

He turned to Tam.

"I'm afraid we'll have to postpone this discussion. I will be happy to talk you through any questions you might have once we are heading toward and through the wormhole."

He nods in a gesture of farewell and makes his way to the Bridge.

*Bridge

"Put their message on screen, Owen," Lorval says as he sits in his chair. OOC: I'm assuming even basic ships have a main viewer. XP

The image of the Starfleet officer who carried out your ship's inspection appears on the screen.

"Captain Lorval, we have completed the scans of your ship and its all clear. The engineering team has also reported that everything is ok, so you are free to go through the wormhole at any time. Please note however that it is...bad form...to invite new people onto your shop mid-way through your security check.

Other than that you are all clear, don't cause trouble. Out"

With that the image goes.
