“Ready?” The universal translator translates into Federation Standard.

“Never ask a Klingon if they’re ready for battle!” The universal translator translates the Klingon Language so the human could understand.

Both of them stand a few feet apart with their weapons drawn.

Initiative rolls
Gerrald –
4+3+3 = 10
H’Letor –
6+5+3 = 14

H’Letor goes first.

Swinging her Bat’Leth back she positions both hands at one end of the weapon then brings it swinging down on Gerrald who attempts to parry the blow with his sword.

H’Letor rolls to hit –
4+5+4 = 13 A hit against Gerrald’s Defence of 7.

Gerrald attempts to block the blow with his sword

Gerrald rolls –
6+3+5 = 14 He parries the blow to the side.

Unaffected H’Letor spins bringing the Bat’Leth in from the side and Gerrald tries to dodge the second blow.

H’Letor rolls to hit –
6+4+4 = 14 A hit again.

Gerrald attempts to dodge the second attack with a jump backwards.

Gerrald rolls –
6+1+3 = 10 Gerrald isn’t quick enough and the Bat’leth catches him across the middle as he tries to jump backwards.

H’Letor rolls damage –
6+6+3+2 = 17 damage. It’s a deep gash across the stomach and Gerrald reels from the blow clutching at the wound and H’Letor gives out a deep throated roar.

“Uh...good one, I think I’m gonna have to actually see the doc about this. I yield.” Gerrald lets his sword drop to the floor with a slight grin.

“That sword is useless against the mighty Bat’Leth! You should learn the way of Klingon warriors!”

“You got me this time, but that only brings it level. I’ll stick with my choice.” Gerrald slumps to the floor.

“Here.” H’Letor holds out an arm which Gerrald grabs and she pulls him up.

“Thanks.” As H’Letor pulls Gerrald up the cargo bay door opens and Tukal arrives.

Tukal folds his arms and glares at the pair.
"We have a Starfleet security team on board, two missing weapons and now a wounded security officer. Could you not have waited until after the inspection to eviscerate one another? And I expect you to respond to important calls."

"A bit of practice to pass the time," Gerrald says "No harm."

"A warrior must always be ready for battle!" The universal translator translates for you.

"We set the communicators to silent so there wasn't any distractions."

[OOC - I couldn't remember if you could understand Federation Standard or not, reguardless your universal translator will translate it to Cardassian if thats the only language you speak.]

*Cargo Bay 3

"Next time, inform me before you do so."
Tukal looks over Gerrald.
"Looks like you need to sharpen your skills, my friend. H'letor, take him to Sickbay, and then meet me in the Weapons Store. Be sure to bring both of your weapons."

"Yes sir." The two leave, H'Letor helping Gerrald and grabs his sword.

*Sick Bay

The door hisses open and the two come in, H'Letor helping Gerrald who clutches his stomach.

"Alright Doc." Says Gerrald.

"Shesh, don't bother I know what happened. Get him on the bed." The Betazoid comes over and looks at the wound. "You really should be more careful with your practice sessions."

"Practice should be as dangerous as the real thing!" H'Letor says almost in disgust at the thought of non-dangerous combat.

"Whatever, right then hold still." The doctor grabs an autosuture and starts to use it.

"I've got to go to the Weapon Store." With that H'Letor leaves with the two weapons.

Deanra rolls -
5+2+6+5+1 = 19 The TN is 5 for someone in Dazed.

Gerrald heals
10 damage from the medicine check, plus 3 for the use of an autosuture for a total of 13.

"Right stay there." Deanra then grabs a Dermal Regenerator and seeing as no check is required simply rolls to see how much it heals.

Regenerator rolls -
1 so Gerrald has another 1 point of damage healed.

"I'll just give you a shot of Chlormydride and you'll be good as new." The Betazoid grabs a hypospray and presses a few buttons.

"Thanks doc. She caught me..."

"I don't need the gory details. I just fix the aftermath." She uses the hypospray and makes a Medicine check to make sure the drug had the desired effect.

Deanra rolls -
5+5+4+1 = 15 The TN is 15 so the drug works and heals 3 points of damage. This brings to total healed to 17, meaning Gerrald is fully healed. A quick scan with a tri-corder and the Betazoid is done.

"Right your all done." Deanra starts to put her equipment away.

"Cheers doc." Gerald says as he swings his legs of the table "Going to need a new shirt it seems."

"Get some armour." The Betazoid says dismissively as she carries on putting the equipment away.

[OOC - This medical procedure will take roughly one hour to fully complete. I just did all the rolls e.t.c now to get it out of the way. Consider this procedure to be going on in the background. Pho H'Letor can arrive in a post of yours.]

Tukal is waiting as H'Letor arrives. He address Jenkins.
"This is one half of my security team, H'Letor. My other is currently indisposed in Sickbay due to a training injury. You will find the last of our weapons here."
Tukal nods toward H'Letor, with the weapons.

OOC: I did advise the Ensign I would be in my quarters. Seems he's a bit of a retard. XP

*Captain's Quarters

"On my way."

Lorval finishes the rest of his tea, stands and makes his way to Weapons Storage after depositing his cup back on the replicator pad.

*Weapons Storage

"Thank you, Tukal. Ensign Jenkins, you wished to see me?"

"Yes captain. I'm glad to say everything has checked out with your ship and your free to go on the station. We'll then conduct a deep scan of the ship and an engineering team will run thorough tests to make sure everything is ok before you go through the wormhole. Thank you again for your co-operation." He presses a few buttons on his PADD "I've sent my report to your ship so you have a copy. Right then, thank you captain."

Jenkins then leaves the room.

[OOC - You are now free to go on Deep Space 9. Consider each of you to have roughly 40 strips of Latinum to spend...enjoy!]

Lorval nods as Jenkins departs and makes his way to another wall terminal.

"Good day, your captain again. I am pleased to report the initial examination of our ship is complete and you are now free to explore the station. Please try to avoid too much debauchery. I would appreciate it. We should be ready to proceed through the wormhole in no more than a few hours. Thank you."

Lorval turns to Turkal.

"I don't know how I'd manage without these tannoys." He says with a grin. "But yes, I am as relieved as you are. Anything in particular you want to see on Deep Space 9?"

"I think I'll see what Quark is serving these days. His reputation alone is worth visiting his establishment for. But you're right, it does have a lot of history. Shall we drink together?"

OOC: I tried so hard not to make that sound like a gay come-on. XD
