advanced targets are essential for making use of the cover, but basic targets will still allow them to be trained in shooty shooty. Depends what happens if you fail I suppose, unless it's one of those ones that will take longer to do but you can still pass them?

-cargo bay-

"ill see about setting you up some advansed targets. it might take a while, so i wouldnt hang around"

im useing engering structer (i think its strutral engering anyway) since that seems pritty close to the task at hand

( 6 + 4 ) + 8 = 18
( 1 + 5 ) + 8 = 14 (32)
( 1 + 4 ) + 8 = 13 (45)
( 3 + 4 ) + 8 = 15 (60)

about two hours later, over the comms, or whatever "tukal, your targets are ready"

Ace.

Tukal will comm to the Captain.
"Captain, the course is ready. I would like all non essential personnel to attend if possible."

By non essentiall obviously I mean basic running of the ship, if it can work without them, great.

Tukal will head to weapons storage to pick up some low energy disrupters.

Jumping around the time frame here, I'm not sure when food will be ready by our Neelix, so I can work around that. Ie, if nosh is ready in an hour and a bit from when we started, they wouldn't have time to eat before they go on running about and shooting things :P

Well I'll skip ahead to the course run to for now.

Who's going first? It will be treated as a cobat of sorts so a Quickness Reaction test will need to be made to determin initative, then some more tests to avoid getting shot and shoot back.

Chiefs of Security first?

Yup, Tukal wants them to show the others how it's done. Do I roll for them or do you?

Well you've made a very very good version of it!

(This stew will be ready for when Tukal finishes his little run of the course...be it a stunned drooling heap or victorious.)

As for Tukal, if you do a Quickness reaction test, then thats your Initative.

The turrets...well they aren't particularly quick. They roll 2 + 3 + 0 = 5

Unsurprisingly Tukal goes first, from the start point you have to run to cover with one of the targets trying to shoot you.

If you make me a DC 5 Quickness Reaction test to run and get behind the cover. The target will attempt to shoot at you as you move so if you want to declare a dodge Please do so.

Okay, so, first action would be to move, right? And I'll then I can declare my last action as a dodge.

So first I'll roll the quickness test. 6 + 3

Also, I'll try and find my character sheet soon so I can use my proper stats.

Ok the drone takes a shot at you.

Tracking Tukal as he runs from the starting area to the first bit of cover the drone takes a shot at him...

It rolls 3 + 2 + 5 = 10 Vs your Defence, I believe you score is 9 so you'll have to make your Dodge roll which is a Quickness Reaction test with DC 10

Seeing as these are training drones they are on Stun setting 1. Which will put you out for a few rounds generally. Though of course being stunned does mean the obstacle course would have beaten you this time round.
