I kinda stole this from /mu/, but I thought it was a good idea.

What really makes you rage, musically? What makes you want to snap someones neck before pissing on their parents? Be it an artist or song, or another persons opinion/tastes. This is the thread where you can unleash all the rage!

One thing that bugs me: People mistaking 'My Bloody Valentine', a shoegaze band from the 80's, for an emo band and/or 'Bullet For My Valentine'.

Person: Let's see your iPod.
Me: Okay.
Person: Oh, My Bloody Valentine? Aren't they that emo band?
Me: FFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUU

What makes me want to rage is Cobra Starship on Kerrang. If Kerrang is meant to be a rock magazine, playing rock music on their rock channel, what the fuck is this pop/dance shit doing on there? Make a good girl go bad? It has all the makings of a shit dance trap - simple beat, crap twat singing minimalist lyrics, a hot girl randomly in the middle doing some cheesy semi-rap thing... apparently it's to do with Gossip Girl? Seriously wts

XD It wasn't on all the time, though once is too much. Personally I enjoyed some of the other stuff on there. Mainly the cool lists they did (Rock Profiles, Top 20 Hottest Rock Chicks (Hayley Williams topped it, w00t!), Top 50 Rock Videos). The content of those lists seemed to be of higher standard than the usual crap. And, of course, I loved it for showing the new 30 Seconds to Mars video several times as well.


One positive thing about the shitty songs like Good Girl Bad (whatever), Damn If I Doughnut You (whatever!) is that good memories are associated with them. ^^ If I ever hear them memories of Necromunda flood back.

This is true! Anytime I hear that shit I will be reminded of shooting someone in the face with a meltagun atop Happy Mushroom Kingdom while you fire back from Noah's Ark XD
