I know you said to follow the trend of the numbers for soemthing or another, but I couldn't spot a trend. :P

I'm going to be really annoying now...I don't want to be but its something I noticed...pre-emptive apology!

Ciaran, in your description your character has plate armour and a bastard sword, both of these require a fighter to spend their starting feat to obtain. Obviously its impossible for you to have both because you only get one starting feat!

Fighters of course arn't proficient with Plate Armour, AFAIK Paladins are the only ones to start with that, and no class starts with a Superior Weapon Proficiency (again AFAIK).

Sorry! I couldn't not mention it after I noticed it >.<

I didn't know that, and Pyra said I could start with the bastard sword (I just lose 30gp), as I took plate as my feat. I'll change it to an oversized large sword or something then.

Thanks for spotting this out though, I'll know for other games in the future then! :D

an oversized large sword is called a greatsword :P Its two handed though where-as the Bastard Sword is single or two.

I wasn't sure if I could use a great sword, and since Minotaurs have something called oversized, which means they can use weapons bigger than usual (or normal two handed weapsons in one hand), so I was just going to go with that.

This weapons lark is confusing! I'll think or a normal wepaons to have when I get back from the shops. :P

Great swords are usable by fighters, because its a Military Melee Weapon which you'd be proficient with.

Don't know what the stats are for Minotaurs because I don't have a Monster Manual but if it says you can use two handed weapons in one hand then you can use a greatsword with one hand.

Just thought this would be useful...Monster Manual says:

MINOTAUR
Average Height
: 7'1" - 7'5"
Average Weight: 320-350 lb

Ability Scores: +2 Strength, +2 Constitution
Size: Medium
Speed: 6 Squares
Vision: Normal

Languages: Common
Skill Bonuses: +2 Nature, +2 Perception
Ferocity: If you are reduced to 0 hit points, you can make a melee basic attack as a free action before falling unconscious.
Oversized: You can use weapons of your size or one size larger than you as if they were your size.
Goring Charge: You can use goring charge as an encounter power.

I won't bother with the Goring Charge details. Oversized is a little confusing, however (if the weapon is your size there is no issue, is there? Yet it specifies it anyway. O.o). I'm not sure if it means you can use a Greatsword in one hand or just use one of a higher size category. However, as always, what the DM says, goes, and if Pyra let you have a Bastard Sword then technically you can have one as his word always overwrites the rules.

Yeah wasn't paying attention with the weapon proficency sorry my bad. Going to have to swap the bastard sword to keep things fair... my suggestions are

A Large Longsword is versatile(so one or two handed), 1D10 damage, +3 prof and a heavy blade.

or

A Large Broadsword. It is also a versatile heavy blade, it does 1d12 damage but is only +2 prof.

Both of these are Large (bonus included) Military Weapon and similar to the Bastard Sword.

Are people loosing interest or not getting around to posting. I understand it can take a little while for turns but was hoping it would be a bit quicker than this.

If there is an issue let me know and I'll do my best to sort it for you (OH GOD I SOUND LIKE I DO AT WORK), but if it's just apathy then it will only get worse as the pace slows down.

I've received a request from Red Pill to join the game. I personally have no problem with this, but existing players get priority over new players, so if any one has a problems with an extra player let me know.

If there is no problem I'll start thinking up some way for them to meet you.
