It sucks that Ciaran and Jim can't make it, but we've got a fairly decent turnout so far. The way thinsg are going it's likely everyone will be able to stay in the house and nobody will have to get a hotel. Though again, that's up to AK and Katie.

Well, the way I see it, the glass is half full, just someone nicked some of the beer in it. or.... something. Either way, I'm happy with the turnout, mainly because I thought it'd be a lot worse.

I've been told by my mum that my next lot of money comes just before the 6th, but I wouldn't be able to come by myself and stay at the hotel by myself.

I'd say London because I know that's everyone's favourite venue and easier to get to for some (other than the Northerners) but it's also my least favourite venue, as I can't even get INTO London because of vertigo and all that jazz. I may have to sacrifice myself to organise it for you guys and you can all go to London.

Regardless, I'll research a bunch of cities or places and suggest them to people and put a big old poll up when it's time for the next con.

Preferably I'd want somewhere central where everyone has a fair chance of getting to it. I found with old AL:UK cons that for the most part it was in London, or nearer the south of the UK, which wasn't fair on the Northerners.

So, Jim, we could make it if you worked a couple of extra ngihts or so, because if Ray drives us, we'll give him some petrol money or something and we wont have to pay £70 for a train ticket.

Hmm... Nottingham is quite a nice place and if you can offer some people accomodation that will make things a bit easier on those who don't have money, as well as possibly give us a base to hang out (if that's okay with you)

I think at previous cons though we all stayed together in a travel inn, people often complained about noise and we were always going in and out from room to room and although that can be fun, I think it'd be better if we have a "home base" so to speak. We'll see nearer the time, but I'll definately consider Nottingham.

And okay Ciaran. I don't think the hotel rooms will be that much at all.

Yupp using my place as a 'base' would be fine, my housemates wont mind much unless it stops them from sleeping, which I doubt will really be a problem xD.

But ya, if Notts is going to be the place for the next con just give me notice and I can work out how many I can have stay in our place.

Rob knows him, and you may have seen a few jokes on here about a guy called Christopher, he found out about it the other day and I think he wants to come along too if we go, makes the hotel even cheaper for us, too.

Rob want sto know what you guys think about this. He pretty much likes the stuff we all like on here, and he would've joined up here, but he only has access to the internet on his PS3 because his PC is broken.
